In March, the Ukrainian boxing team flew to London, where the first licensed tournaments for the Olympic Games took place. Before the suspension of the competition, the right to represent Ukraine at the main sporting event of the planet was granted to Mykolay Butsenko.

About 350 participants took part in the licensed tournament for the Olympics in Tokyo, of which 13 represented Ukraine. These included guys who are supported by the pharmaceutical company “Zdorovye”: Nikolay Butsenko, Yaroslav Khartsyz, and Sergey Gorskov.

The first license holder among Ukrainian boxers was the captain of the national team Mykola Butsenko, acting in the weight category up to 57 kg. In the decisive battle, the Ukrainian defeated the representative of Armenia Arthur Bazeyan (5: 0). And now, 29-year-old Nikolay will go to the Olympic Games, which were supposed to be held in Tokyo in 2020. But because of the coronavirus pandemic, they were moved to 2021.
