GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
Agents affecting cardiovascular system. Non-selective β-adrenoceptor blockers. Propranolol. ATC code C07A A05.
Indications to Use:
Control of essential and renal hypertension, angina pectoris, prolonged preventive therapy after myocardial infarction, control of most types of cardiac arrhythmia, prevention of migraine, essential tremor, control of excitation and excitation-induced tachycardia, adjunctive therapy in thyrotoxicosis and thyrotoxic crisis; as part of the combined treatment of phaeochromocytoma (only in combination with α-adrenoblockers).
