GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
Drugs for peptic ulcer and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease. Famotidine. ATC Code A02B A03.
Indications to Use:
• Benign gastric ulcer.
• Peptic ulcer disease (treatment and prevention of relapses).
• Hyper-secretory conditions, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
• Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (rreflux esophagitis).
• Prevention of the development of symptoms and erosion or ulceration associated with gastroesophageal reflux disease.
