Antithyroid drugs. ATC Code Н03В В02.
Indications to Use:
Treatment of thyrotoxicosis.
– Conservative treatment of thyrotoxicosis, especially with missing or small goitre.
– Preparation for surgical treatment for all forms of thyrotoxicosis.
– Preparation for the treatment of thyrotoxicosis with radioactive iodine.
– Therapy in the latent period of action of radioactive iodine.
– Prevention of thyrotoxicosis in prescribing iodine drugs in the presence of latent thyrotoxicosis, autonomic adenomas or thyrotoxicosis in history.
